From these brief details it seems that this phone is infact better but actually, the Samsung Galaxy Portal is the upgrade of this phone. The reason it look better is because features such as 2G & 3G technology, WiFi Technology and OS may look like it is the same, The Samsung Galaxy Portal actually has better hardware of those said.
